What is the Images tab?

The Images tab contains all the Subject Images of a Job. It's here you can review and edit one, many, or all images in a Subject Job. This tab is only available for Smart Workflow members. To open the Images tab, select on the Images icon in the Navigation Bar.

Selecting Images

Click on an image to select it. Hold Ctrl (Cmd on Mac) + click to select individual images. Hold Shift + click to select a range of images.

After selecting your desired images, you can use the drop-down toolbar to download, hide, delete or reassign your selected images to a different subject.

Reviewing your Images

Upon opening the Images tab, you'll see a grid containing all Subject Images in the Job. Each subject has a different colored bar running underneath their images to easily determine at a glance where a subject's images begin and end. Click on the + button to see all hidden images (if applicable).

Click on the ellipses button (...) to access the selection tool. Use the checkboxes to mark an image as primary, yearbook (if applicable), or hidden.

Pro Tips: The Orders Icon next to the Subject name indicates that this Subject has had orders placed in the Job. You can also select the Primary Image attribute by clicking on the Gold Star in the top-right corner.

Apply a filter using the filter button next to the search box to narrow your view of images and subjects in the grid. Be sure to check out all available filter options to familiarize yourself with the different views available

Pro Tip: The image count in the top-left shows total images in your current view. That number will adjust automatically as filters are placed on your default view

Use the slider in the top-right corner to adjust the size of the images in the image grid. Play around with the sizing to find the view that's right for you!

Editing Images

Click on the Edit button in the top-left corner next to the image count to switch from Review mode to Edit mode.

Use the tabs on the far-left pane of the screen to switch between the Color and Crop editing tools. The next pane lets you specify if the edits should apply to a single image, a filtered image set (if applicable) or all images. Use the Auto-Headsize to apply an auto-headsized crop.

Click on the green apply button to apply the edits to all images. Use the revert button on both tabs if you made a mistake and need to remove all edits and restore the original version.

While editing images, you can use the tool bar at the bottom of the middle pane to enable guidelines, apply standard crops, or view the image file name. You can also click to drag and manually position the image as desired.

Download and Replace Images

You can use the download and replace tools to download images out of Blueprint to make edits using a third-party tool or software; like Adobe Photoshop. Once you've finished your edits, click on the Replace button to replace each applicable image in the job with your edited copies easily.

Pro Tip: Note that the replace feature works by matching the image filename in Blueprint with the image file name in the folder containing the replacement images. If Blueprint can't find the same image filename in the job, it will skip the image in the folder.
